KRM in the News

The downtown areas of Bremerton are overpopulated with homeless people. And a lot of those homeless people don’t want to be clean and sober. But a lot of us here are clean, like me, I have over three months now clean and sober. And it is it’s kind of stressful sometimes. But with the help of this staff system that they have, it feels really positive and encouraging. They really go out of their way here to help us. I had a pretty rough time, I did seven and a half years in prison. And when I got out, I had absolutely nowhere to go. If it wasn’t for my brother, that’s here, I wouldn’t have had the luxury of being in a place like this. I would have been out there on the streets and probably still using drugs. And I’m thankful that there is something like this that is better for people that want to do better with their lives.
