KRM in the News

We have a new temporary home! The Kitsap Rescue Mission will be moving to the Quality Inn on Kitsap Way in Bremerton, on Tuesday, August 3.  We are very pleased that this move will not displace anyone! The County’s contract with the Quality Inn means also that in September, we will be able to provide for even more guests than we presently serve.

We will continue offering 3 meals a day to our guests along with onsite behavioral health and substance abuse services, and case management. We have invited the area service providers who would be interested in bringing their services on site to let us know if they would like space there. If you are part of a service or ministry team that would be interested in providing something on site – please do reach out to us!

With much gratitude to Doug Washburn, Kirsten Jewell, our three County Commissioners, The County Parks Department, and the owners of the both the Midway and Quality Inn who have been very gracious in dealing with all of this – and to all of our faithful supporters who have stayed the course with us through this crazy year –

We wish to thank you on behalf of the seventy people moving with us who will have a new place to call home.
