Port Orchard Update

KRM in the News

We have big news and a big prayer request!

As we have moved into Phase 3, the County Parks and Recreation Department is looking forward to using the Pavilion again as the event center it was designed to be.

That means the shelter needs a new home.

The Kitsap County Department of Human Services has found and purchased property in Port Orchard that could provide us with the opportunity to move directly from the Pavilion to a new site while maintaining the same capacity and level of service.

We would still be able to operate a 24 hour continuous stay shelter as we have at the Pavilion.

However, we still need to get through the permitting process. We could use your prayers as we speak to neighbors and the Port Orchard community seeking their support.

We will post updates to our website so stay tuned!
Thank you so much for your continued support through this challenging year! You have helped transform this challenge into a true blessing for our guests.
