We are deeply grieved by serious racial concerns that have been raised. We are working with Kitsap County to plan a course of action needed for correction. In addition, the Board is conducting an internal investigation of how the incident was handled. We will be seeking input from some local organizations to help us identify and address the areas in which we need to improve and grow.
The alleged behavior is not consistent with who we are, and we are committed to doing better and being better.
We will provide updates on our plan of correction as it is developed.
